Colorado Airways   Ryan M-1                                (Registration and c/n not known)

                                    

                                         Colorado Airways inaugurated an air mail service from Cheyenne to Pueblo via Denver and
                                         Colorado Springs on 31 May 1926.  Founded by Anthony F. Joseph, it provided connecting
                                         service from the transcontinental route south into Colorado.    .  Orignally flown with Hispano
                                         Suiza engined Standards, these were later replaced by three similarly powered Ryan M-1s
                                    .    This was in the days before official registratiomns were alloted.   The line was taken over by
                                         Western Air Express in December 1927.   Photo from Ryan Aeronautical received by me
