Colonial Western Airways  Sikorsky S-38B  NC158H    (c/n  114-18)

                                          

                                                 This murky image came from a Sikorsky Aircraft house organ in the 1940s.   When Colonial
                                                 Western extended its route mileage in the summer of 1929 to include Toronto, Canada, the
                                                 new route was dubbed "The Scenic AIRway over Niagara.  The above shot shows sightseers
                                                 marvelling at the cabin and landing gear of a new "B" model of the S-38.   Canadian Colonial
                                                 was absorbed into American Airways on 25 January 1930.
