                                              Central Airlines was founded in 1944 by Keith Kahle, initially as an FBO and charter outfit.
                                              Scheduled air mail services commenced in September of 1949 using a fleet of eleven Beech
                                              Bonanzas.  It was based at Meacham Field, Fort Worth.
