Catalina Air
Lines Grumman G-21A Goose N324
(c/n B66)
When Avalon Air Transport
changed its name to Catalina Airlines in 1963, it elected not to
perpetuate the light blue/dark blue scheme
started in 1961, but to adopt a similar white and
blue motif that it had before, but with a new red
logo on the fin and rudder. Dick Probert's
Catalina Airlines ceased
operations in 1968 although since that time there have been at least
two other lines
bearing that name.
