                                         When Avalon Air Transport changed its name to Catalina Airlines in 1963, it elected not to
                                         perpetuate the light blue/dark blue scheme started in 1961, but to adopt a similar white and
                                         blue motif that it had before, but with a new red logo on the fin and rudder.  Dick Probert's
                                         Catalina Airlines ceased operations in 1968 although since that time there have been at least
                                         two other lines bearing that name.
