Cascade Airways Beechcraft 99
N2880A
(c/n U-109)
Cascade Airways was formed at
Spokane, WA in May 1970 by Mark Chestnutt to provide
local commuter services from that
city to Seattle, Portland and Boise via several intermediate
stops.
Initial equipment comprised two Beech 99s, one of which,
N2880A, is seen above at
Salt Lake City International
in this shot by Eduard Marmet.
This particular machine was pur-
chased new from Beech,
although the arline would go on to operate some 15 examples of
this twin engined commuter, most of which had been
"previously owned".
