Braniff International
Airways Boeing 727-027C
N7272 (c/n 19111)
Here's a colorful covey of
a Braniff 727 and two BAC-111s at Dallas' Love Field in 1967,
showing three
of the original pastel shades. This poor shot was taken from a
brochure.
Just about every US
trunk carrier in the 1960s operated the venerable Boeing
727. It
became the
true workhorse of the American airline scene. Including the
'stretched' dash
200 series,
Braniff operated over seventy of them over the years.
