ZK-AYD  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth         (c/n   86477)

                                 

                                        ZK-AYD was not particpating in this air show at Hastings in 1950, it just happened to be
                                        parked on the edge of the airfield.   This was a Cowley-built Tiger (ex NM157), civilianized
                                        as G-AMGZ and delivered to Wanganui Aero Work in 1952.   It was badly damaged in an
                                        accident at Tokaanu in 1955 and withdrawn from service.
