ZK-AXO  Auster J/1 Autocrat                (c/n 2637)

                                          

                                                 ZK-AXO was operated by the Otago Aero Club when this image was taken in the mid
                                                 1950s.  It was formerly registered in the UK as G-AJUZ.    It is still currently registered
                                                 although at some point it was modified to J/1B standard and wheel spats were fitted. 
                                                 Phil Treweek took a nice shot of it (below) at Hood Aerodrome, Masterton on January 28,
                                                 2001 where it was on static display at an air show.
