ZK-AVJ
de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA401)
This crossing of the letter "J" is unusual. Could almost be
confused with a "T". Anyway,
ZK-AVJ was a
sister aircraft to ZK-AVI and came from the Australian register where
it
had been
VH-AQN (ex A17-366). It was another of the James Aviation
topdressers,
and is
seen outside their hangar at Hamilton in 1951. Like its
sister machine, its bits and
pieces were also
repatriated back to Australia following a write off at Uruahi Station
in 1956.
