ZK-AVI de
Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA402)

A washed out print of a James
Aviation Tiger. Like Robertson Air Services 'dressers, it favored
a checkerboard rudder. This aircraft came from
Australia and was previously VH-BBR with the
Royal Queensland Aero Club.
Its RAAF serial number was A17-367. Despite being almost
totally destroyed in 1969, the bits and pieces were
repatriated to Australia and rebuilt as VH-AQN.
It is, I believe, still current on the Australian register.
