By around the
middle of 1950 both Australia and New Zealand began running out of ex
local
military
Tigers and so they started to import some from the UK. ZK-AUV was
one such, having
been N9126 with the RAF and G-ALWZ
on the British register. It went directly to topdressing
duties in the Dominion. It
was withdrawn from use in 1957.
