ZK-AUT  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth         (c/n  83274)

                                             

                                                    This Tiger was an ex-RAAF machine which retained its RAF serial of T5555 whilst in
                                                    Australia  It was civilianized in 1951 as VH-BEQ.   Exported in August 1950 to New
                                                    Zealand as ZK-AUT as a topdressser for Aviation Enterprises Ltd.   Jim Dyson's nice
                                                    shot (via David Molesworth) shows it circa 1953 having been converted to a single seater
                                                    (the front seat became the hopper).  It is currently reputed to be in storage in Auckland.
