ZK-ATE  Miles M.14A Hawk Trainer III                                           (c/n 2105)

                            

                                 This Jim Dyson shot (courtesy of the David Molesworth collection) was taken at an angle
                                 which gives the Hawk Trainer a slightly racy look.   A former RAF Magister (T9888) it was
                                 exported to New Zealand in 1949, having been on the UK civil register as G-AIOJ.  It went
                                 originally to the Canterbury Aero Club although I suspect it had left that organization by the
                                 time this image was taken. circa 1954.
