ZK-ARB  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth         (c/n   DHNZ18)

                                             

                                                   The fuselage of ZK-ARB was built at Hatfield and shipped to New Zealand.  The remainder
                                                   of the machine was constructed at Rongotai from local materials.  The RNZAF serial was
                                                   NZ768.  It was sold to Aircraft Services Ltd of Wigram in 1947, although by 1949 had been
                                                   sold to Mr. Collins of Hawkes Bay.. When this shot was taken (circa 1950) it was being oper-
                                                   ated by O. James of Tolaga Bay as a topdresser.  It carried the name "Pluto".  ZK-ARB crashed
                                                   in Waikite Valley on 7 November 1956.
