ZK-AOC  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                (c/n   83525)

                                        collection    Previously NZ679 with the RNZAF, it was sold to D. Grey of Whenuapai  in
                                        1948, after being rebuilt with pieces of NZ887 which had crashed near Clarence River in
                                        1947.  It was modified as a topdresser in 1950 and went James Aviation Ltd.  ZK-AOC
                                        crashed at Whakamaru on 6 August 1955 seriously injuring the pilot, Colin Hale. Parts of it
                                        were used to rebuild ZK-BBE.
