ZK-AOA  Percival P.28 Proctor I                     (c/n  H.15)

                                      
                                     
                                              This machine was ex-RAF Proctor R7499 and civilianized as G-AIXP.  It was exported to
                                              New Zealand in 1947 and was operated by the Hawkes Bay and East Coast Aero Club.
                                              The image above, from the Geoff Goodall collection is clearly a CofA attachment photo and
                                              shows the aircraft with its original fuselage rego.  By the time the shot below was taken in
                                              1950,  the in vogue style was to place its identity on the tail.   ZK-AOA was sold in Australia
                                               in 1958 but somehow got reparably damaged en route and, as a result, was burnt at Bankstown
                                               in 1962.
