ZK-BFI  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth         (c/n   86490)

                                             

                                                    This was ex-RAF NM182, civilianized as G-ANNR.  Went to New Zealand early in 1954.
                                                    It was destroyed on the ground in a gale at Hastings (where this shot was taken) in 1957.
                                                    Local nomenclature in this day and age, and where I live now, in North Carolina, would have
                                                    deemed the storm a Cat 1 or 2 Hurricane.
