Previously T7167 and G-ANBT. Imported into New
Zealand in late 1953 for topdressing
duties.
Unlike most topdressers, this aircraft (a) survived the ordeal and (b)
was beautifully
restored to
its former RAF glory as seen in the super contemporary photograph below
by
Phillip Treweek. This shot was taken at Whitianga Airstrip on
January 29, 2000 with ZK-BEC
resplendent as T-7167.
