ZK-BAX de
Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n 85151)
I will
include this woeful image for historical completeness sake
only. It was owned
by Aerial Super
Spread and this shot was taken at Christchurch in 1953. It was
another of the
Tigers picked up in the UK when the RAF ditched a whole load of them.
This one was ostensibly G-AMMO
but probably went to New Zealand almost
immediately after
being declared surplus. It was written off in a crash at
Wairoa in
1958.
