ZK-AJI  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                  (c/n   82966)

                                    

                                         ZK-AJI was a Hatfield-built Tiger, ex NZ894.  In 1946 it was sold to the Canterbury Aero
                                         Club. It was then sold to Wanganui Aero Work in 1953 and converted to a topdresser.  My
                                         shot above shows it in that guise.  ZK-AJI crashed at Karioria, near Waiouru in 1957.  Its
                                         remains were seen on scrapheap at Palmerston North in December 1958.
