ZK-AJG    de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth           (c/n  DHNZ98)

                                

                                     Here's a Tiger of the Canterbury Aero Club at Christchurch, circa 1949.  Shortly after this
                                     shot was taken it was sold to James Aviation Ltd and converted to a topdresser.  It returned
                                     to Aero Club work in 1956 moving to Hauraki.  ZK-AJG crashed at Thames airfield in 1958
                                     after failing to recover from a spin.  The pilot was killed in the resultant fire. .
