ZK-AJB de
Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth

This canopied Tiger is
wearing the all yellow (with navy blue rego) of the Wanganui
Aero Club, to whom it
was assigned after its service life as NZ687. Its c/n identifies
it as a Cowley-built machine. It is seen
here at Hastings in 1949. By the end of 1950
it had been sold Air Contracts, Masterton, but
went on to Aerial Agriculture Ltd as a
topdressser in 1951. The image below
shows it in aerial agricultural service, sans
canopy and as a single seater. Hastings,
circa 1953. ZK-AJB was
scrapped in 1958.
