ZK-AIY   de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                   (c/n  82296)

There were probably more canopied Tigers in New Zealand than in Australia.   Clearly
the weather (at least in the South Island) is more conducive to having the comfort of a
cabin in the winter than it is in say, Tasmania. Canterbury Aero Club had this conversion
performed by Airwork NZ Ltd.  The (equally lousy) shot below shows it in its original
form.  It was converted to a topdresser in 1951 and scrapped in 1958.
