ZK-AIM  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth               (c/n   83469)

                                       

                                              This shot was taken outside the old Union Airways hangar at Christchurch in 1949.
                                              ZK-AIM was ex NZ665 and was issued free to the Canterbury Aero Club in 1946.
                                              It was written off in accident at Swannanoa 03 March 1951 while taking part in a
                                              navigational competition.  The pilot was killed.
