ZK-AHS   de Havilland D.H.89A Dragon Rapide                     (c/n  6423)

                              

                                   A nicely trimmed Rapide of Air Travel (NZ) Ltd.at Auckland in 1949.   This is the former
                                   ZK-AGT which was impressed into RNZAF service as NZ558 and re-registered VH-AHS
                                   when it returned to civilian life.  (New Zealand re-allocated new regos after their military
                                   service was completed). It is preserved in the Museum of Transport and Technology at
                                  Auckland.   Phil Vabre has furnished me with a shot of it at that locale (below)
