ZK-AFL  Miles M.2P Hawk Major                  (c/n   220)

                              

                                     Imported in 1937 for the Marlborough Aero Club, this aircraft was previously G-ADLO.
                                     It was impressend into service in 1939 as NZ588.  However, it was in a damaged condition
                                     as a result of an earlier forced landing on a beach at Port Waikato and was not repaired.
                                     Accordingly it was reduced to produce at Rongotai and struck off charge in June 1940.
