ZK-AEG  de Havilland D.H.86 Express                  (c/n  2331)

                                 

                                        VH-AEG had almost the same history as VH-AEF.  To Union Airways on 1935.   Named
                                        'Waipawa' (a district in the North Island).   Impressed as NZ553.  Returned to civilian use
                                        with Union Airways as ZK-AHW in 1945 and renamed 'Korimako' (Bell Bird).   It then
                                        reverted back to the RNZAF for a spell and was withdrawn from use in 1946.
