VH-UVK  Lockheed  DL-1A Vega Special   (c/n  155)

                              
          
                                  This aircraft was imported into Australia in 1936 for a Mr. H.C. Miller of Perth.  It was the aircraft
                                  flown by Jimmy Woods in the 1934 Centenary Air Race from London to Melbourne. Built as a
                                  regular Lockheed 5 Vega, it was rebuilt in 1936 to DL-1A configuration.  It was previously NC372E,
