VH-UZB
was the first of three Comper Swifts to be registered in
Australia. This pint-sized
sporting aircraft was designed by
Flt/Lt Nicholas Comper in 1931. Power was supplied by
a 35
hp ABC Scorpion radial engine. -UZB unfortunately crashed at
Lakes Entrance, Vic
in 1950 and was written off. Bob
