VH-UQS  de Havilland D.H.83 Fox Moth                     (c/n   4019)

                              

                                  Rare photograph from the Neil Follett collection (via Geoff Goodall) of a Fox Moth of Guinea
                                  Airways at Wau circa 1934.       First registered to de Havilland Aircraft Pty Ltd at Mascot in
                                  March 1933, it was sold in October of that year to Guinea.  Three years later, on 14 October
                                  1935 it crashed at Sandy Creek, NG and was stricken from the register.    It was rebuilt at the
                                  end of 1937 and received a new CofA only to crash again and be destroyed by the resultant
                                  fire at Surprise Creek, NG on 12 March 1938.
