Simmonds Spartan
(c/n 28)

This Spartan was registered to Bishop and
O'Sullivan Aircraft Service of Brisbane in December
of 1929. The inscription on the
nose reads 'Sky Travel', while the under-the-top-wing advert
is for 'Goldenia
Tea' Two years later its CofA lapsed and, so far as I can
tell, was never renewed,
which indicates it rotted
away in a hangar somewhere. The above image is courtesy of the
John
Oxley Library,
