G-AUBP  Avro 504K                                             (c/n  ?)

This photo came from the Mudgee Guardian for February 24, 1921.  The narrative indicates
that it depicts 'Jack Austin's new aeroplane'.  As such I tend to believe that the shot really is
of the actual aircraft which became G-AUBP, rather than a file photo of an Avro 504K.
If any reader can verify that the prior ID of -UBP really was B3168 I would be very much
obliged.     In the event G-AUBP was not actually registered until June 28th of 1921 to
                                        K. J. Austin of Mudgee, NSW.   It may never have been carried its civil  rego.   Anyway,
two years later its C of A lapsed and it was acquired by the indubitable Edgar Percival for
                                        spares.
