VH-WSM  Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee B                  (c/n  25-3401)

                                  

                                        Here's a nice Mike Madden shot of a Pawnee in the corner of a paddock at Morwell, Victoria in
                                        April 1975 whilst still in service with Alpine Aviation to whom it had first been registered a decade
                                        earlier on 24 September 1965    It has had a local Pawnee modificatiuon to the cockpit area making
                                        it officially a PA-25-235/A5.     VH-WSM was written off when it crashed at Uranquity, NSW on
                                        19 September 1985.
