VH-UXD  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth               (c/n  DHA1056)

                               

                                     This was the former VH-PFL and VH-BKF before that.  It has recently undergone a restoration
                                     as seen in the above hangar shot by Ian McDonell  taken at Redcliffe in October 2009.  Although
                                     it flew for years around Queensland's Gold Coast area decked out in 'warbird' colors as A17-725
                                     it now, mercifully, sports an attractive 'civil' livery.  It carries a rego so minuscule on the rear lower
                                     fuselage that I felt it necessary to enlarge Ian's print in order that it may be positively identified
                                     (below)!   At fot of the page is a nice Phil Vabre aerial shot of it taken at Bundaberg in August
                                     2011.  It now sports a 'Moth' star on the rudder.
