VH-UMK (4)  de Havilland D.H.60M Moth                             (c/n  1399)

                                     

                                           This original Moth was registered as VH-UMR in November 1929.  It was sold in New
                                           Zealand in May 1936 as ZK-ADF.  In 2015 it miraculously returned to Oz and was given
                                           the "period" registration VH-UMK (which was actually a D.H.60X, also sold in New Zea-
                                           land as ZK-ADW).  The new -UMK is seen above at Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield
                                           by Tony Arbon in 2015.   Looks like the new rego had not yet been painted on.
