VH-TPI  Piper PA-24-250 Comanche                     (c/n  24-1547)

                                  

                                        This 1959 Comanche was first registered in February 1960 as VH-DMB to Muir Aviation of WA.
                                     .  The photo above, by Alistair Coutts (via the Geoff Goodall collection) shows it at Jandakot in
                                        December 1965.     It had been traded-in in March 1965 to Hawker deHavillands on a new Beech
                                        Baron, that aircraft becoming -DMB while the Comanche assumed the rego -TPI.     It is still extant
                                        and Phil Vabre saw it at Bundaberg in August 2007 (belwo).
