VH-TAM   Douglas DC-3CS1C3G                                           (c/n  13919)

                                  

                                     My shot of VH-TAM ('Landsborough' was taken on a wet and dismal day in June 1954.                                         
                                     This aircraft was literally the block-mate of VH-TAL, being two c/n numbers and two USAAF
                                     serials (42-48103) apart.    Their histories were very similar also, this one being ex RAAF A65-59
                                     (call sign VHCIL).    Service with TAA until exported to Nigeria in 1957 as VR-NCK.   Re-
                                     registered 5N-AAL, it crashed in 1968 whilst in the service of the Nigerian Air Force.
