VH-SVP  Piper PA-28R-180 Cherokee Arrow                      (c/n  28R-30741)

                           

                                   The Cherokee Arrow not only had a third cabin window on each side, but also featured a
                                   retractable undercarriage, making it virtually a totally different machine than the earlier model
                                   Cherokees.  This one was photographed by Greg Banfield at a rally at Bankstown in August
                                   1974.  The inscription forward of the rally number says "Control-a-Door".    (Garage door
                                   openers?).  A 1968 model, it was first registered in August of 1969 and is still currently flying
                                   out of Sale, Victoria.
