VH-SSU   de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                                  (c/n  DHA70)

                                    

                                           VH-SSU was acquired by Super Spread in November 1955.  My shot taken at Moorabbin
                                           shows it days after it had been reregistered.  Originally registered as VH-BCO (ex A17-73)
                                           in June 1947, it was withdrawn from use a year later.  When restored and reregistered in May
                                           of 1954 it became VH-BIJ.     I have no shots of it in its previous identities. As -SSU it crashed
                                           and was written off in March 1957.
