VH-SSQ (1)   de havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                             (c/n  DHA300)

                              

                                     VH-SSQ was the former VH-APU, ex A17-281.  It was civilianized in 1946 and became
                                     -SSQ in October 1955 having been modified as an ag crop duster. .  My shot in June 1956
                                     shows it at Moorabbin painted up in Super Spread's silver all over with orange and red tail
                                     and cowling.  It was withdrawn from use in 1960. .
