VH-SFI  Beech 23 Musketeer                        (c/n  M-306)

                                 
                                    
                                    . This new Musketeer was first registered on 10 August 1965 to M. S. Sidebottom of Shepparton,
                                      Victoria, and had other owners before coming to a spectacular end at Phillip Island, Victoria on
                                      19 February 1969.    The pilot overshot his landing and ran off the end of the strip, struck a fence
                                      and went over the edge of a cliff, gliding down into the sea. The aircraft then drifted to shore where
                                      it was pounded on rocks before it could be salvaged.      Geoff Goodall's shot above was taken at
