VH-RVP (1)  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                               (c/n  DHA446)

                                 

                                          A17-402 was civilianized in September 1951 as VH-BOH.   It was reregkistered into the
                                          Royal Vic series in 1955 as VH-RVP. My shot above was  taken just after that event.
                                          The badge, which was probably a decal, had not yet been applied to the rudder.
                                          Incidentally, the sign on the hangar door at Moorabbin, says:

                                                                                 Royal Vic.Aero Club
                                                                                      Hangar No. 1
                                                                                 NO ADMITTANCE

                                          .......................Yeah, right!

                                           Fate:  Registration cancelled Jan 1956 following accident.
