VH-RLZ  Cessna 172A                                                   (c/n 46973)

Here's the Kempsey Flying Club's Cessna 172A in 1971.  Photo by John Wheatley.  The 172A
was basically a 172 with a swept fin and rudder.  It wasn't until the advent of the B series that the
Skyhawk name was adapted.    This one was originally imported in December 1959, ex N7373T,
as VH-BCK(3).          When sold to the Royal Aero Club of NSW in June of 1960 it became the
second VH-RSL.    It assumed its -RLZ identity in 1964 when sold off by the RACNSW.  .
