VH-RFD  Cessna 180A Skywagon                                   (c/n  32981)

                               

                                   This 180 operated by Northwest Air Charters out of Smithton, Tasmania was a visitor to Parafield,
                                   Adelaide, one day in September 1966.  Geoff Goodall took the above shot of it.  It was the former
                                   N9684B.   These old 180s are certainly resilient, and VH-RFD is yet another still on the active civil
                                   register.  It is currently registered to Robert Bellert of West Prairie, Queensland.   Dave Wilson took
                                   a nice shot of it (below) at the 2007 Wings over Warwick Fly-in.  Looks almost new, doesn't it?
