VH-RBW (1)  DHC-1 Chipmunk T.10                     (c/n C1-0418)

The Royal Aero Club of Western Australia used the VH-R_W series of regos for their Chipmunks.
VH-RBW was the former RAF WG328, and was an ex Rhodesian Air Training Group machine
acquired via a South African dealer, and registered in December 1954.      It was fleet numbered.
'Chipmunk 4' .     The shot above, from the Geoff Goodall collection, shows it after it had been
struck by Tiger Moth VH-AJI ('Tiger No.2') whilst the latter was taking off.  Both pilots escaped
serious injury although -RBW, which was stationary at the time, was written off.
