VH-PWH  Druine D.31 Turbulent                           (c/n  PFA/445/N8)

                                 

                                       VH-PWH was one of the first Turbulents to be home-built in Australia.       It has been around since
                                       December 1958 although oddly, the only shot of it I have been able to unearth is the hangar entrance
                                       one above taken  by John Wheatley, circa 1970.  At the time I believe it had its original 1600 cc VW
                                       engine.    Although still active, it has now been re-registered as 19-0908 on the RAA Register.
