VH-POB Piper PA-32-260 Cherokee
Six
(c/n 32-62)

New in November 1965, this Cherokee Six
of Silver City Air Taxis was seen at Adelaide's
Parafield Airport in May 1966 in this
Geoff Goodall collection photo. VH-POB crashed
and
burned at Bankstown, NSW on 5 May 1969 when the engine failed during
landing
approach and a
wing clipped a tree. Fortunately both pilot and passenger
escaped.
