VH-PLB was registered in
April 1966 having previously been allocated N8443S at the
Cessna
factory. When David Carter saw it at Bankstown in 1970 it
was a long way
from its home at Cooktown, in Far North Queensland where it was owned
by the Starcke
River Cattle Co . In the mid 1970s it was registered
to a Brisbane address and in the
2000s was used for skydiving in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley .
It was still registered to a
Latrobe
Valley owner in December 2016.
