VH-PEP  (1)   Piper PA-25 Pawnee 235                     (c/n  25-2956)

                               

                                   Here's a newly imported Pawnee which had just (a month prior) been assembled at Bankstown
                                   in September of 1965.  It was originally to have been registered VH-TNB, but this was evidently
                                   not taken up.   Photo by Geoff Goodall.  The Piper dealer at the time was Ansett General Aviation.
                                   This VH-PEP (the current one is another Piper - a PA-22) was sold to Tablelands Air Service of
                                   Mudgee NSW.    It crashed and was written off at Mudgee on 18 March 1983.
