VH-MVT  (2)  Victa Airtourer 100                            (c/n   17)

                               

                                   Greg Banfield took the above shot at Bankstown on 9 June 1963.  I am making the assumption,
                                   therefore, that this machine is, in fact,  c/n 17, since the first -MVT (c/n 3) became VH-MOA in
                                  1962 and the third -MVT was not built until 1964.   The above aircraft was sold in New Zealand
                                   as ZK-CFB somewhere around the time this photo was taken but was written off in a crash at
                                   Mount Ida, NZ in February 1964.   Greg indicates it was attractively finished in white with two-
                                   tone brown trim.
